This Little Piggy Got a Makeover

I love what spray paint can do and since the spray painting summer season is almost here I thought it was only appropriate to show off my favorite spray paint makeover.

I got this flying pig from TJMaxx - I love this store for many reasons, but their decorating/trinket section is my absolute favorite!  Every home needs a few "different" decor items to create interest and double as conversation pieces so this flying pig was perfect.  Except for the color - I wanted light and bright, not brown and dark.

Thank goodness for spray paint!  I used Krylon Metallic Silver spray paint that I found at Walmart.  There are so many great spray paint colors out there so I always have to walk through that aisle of the store - am I the only one that does that? (Probably...)

I just love this little guy!  Moral of the story... if you find an item that you like but it's not the right color, you can change it.  All it takes it a little spray paint.
