Introducing Hank Joshua

Well, it's taken me long enough but I thought I'd finally  introduce you to our little Hank Joshua! (It's Hank, not Henry - who knew Hank was a nickname for Henry?!)

After what seemed like the longest wait in history, Hank was born early in the morning on March 3, weighed 6 lbs, 12oz, and was 19 inches long and most importantly healthy!! While I have no plans to share his birth story, like most seem to do, I will say that I have been blessed with very easy labors, for both boys. And, oddly enough, I've always had an enjoyable hospital experience.

While meeting our baby for the first time is one of the most magical experiences ever, a close second is when we got to introduce Colton to his baby brother - who he adores.  In fact, last night my husband said, "I feel bad for the kid that picks on Hank some day." I'd agree.  Colton is a really good big brother!

Hank is a sweetheart, a good eater, and a good sleeper.  He's already found his voice and knows how to fight his older brother for attention.

Where did Hank come from you may ask? It came from a conversation about what we were going to name our baby - pretty simple!  Joshua was my brother's name.

Adjusting to life with two under two has been somewhat of a challenge but I'm doing my best to take it day by day, worry less about the mess that is our home, and practicing patience. (All areas which I definitely need work.)

Without further a-do, here are a few pictures of little love!

I think we'll keep him!

Now, back to blogging about styling your homes and your lifestyle. Cheers!
